A Review After the First Month

We placed our first order for a set of heavy stamping die inserts machined on the multi-axis CNC mill. The parts arrived on schedule, and the fit in our press was exact — no shimming needed. The axial backlash elimination is noticeable: the die runs quieter and the stamped edges are cleaner compared to our previous supplier's work.

What stood out most during the first month was the consistency across the batch. We measured ten inserts from the run, and the critical dimensions stayed within ±4 microns. That kind of repeatability reduces our setup time on the press floor. The vertical turning on the bolster plate also held concentricity within 0.01 mm, which saved us from having to re-cut the guide holes.

Communication was straightforward. The engineering team sent a detailed inspection report with CMM data before shipping, so we knew exactly what we were getting. No surprises. For a first order, that level of transparency builds trust. We are already planning the next batch for a different die set.
